The Lake County Federation of Teachers represents over 5,500 educational employees countywide in nearly all of our elementary school districts in the county. They are part of the American Federation of Teachers with over 1,100,000 members nationwide. Melinda is a proud to receive the endorsement of this group of professionals working everyday to better educate our children. |

AFSCME’s 1.4 million members provide the vital services that make America happen and advocate for prosperity and opportunity for all working families.They are nurses, corrections officers, child care providers, EMTs and sanitation workers. AFSCME represents many of our Lake County Government Employees. Melinda was selected from a questionnaire process responded to by all candidates and is proud to be endorsed. |

Including Automotive, Bricklayers, Boilermakers, Communication Workers, Electrical Workers, Firefighters, Food and Comerica Workers to name a few.
